In Chapter 1, students learned to greet each other, talk about where they are from, and give some general information. To wrap up this chapter, we filmed skits from a book we've been working with. Using the green screen, we brought the story to life. Please see below!
General synopsis: Rafael y el "Tigre" are discussing what they want to do since it is miserably hot in DC where they live. They decide to go to a party at the home of Elisa. During the party, Elisa y el "Tigre" are introduced by Rafael. They dance to Carlos Santana's song Maria, Maria and plan to take a trip together to New York in the upcoming weeks. There is a problem though... Elisa's parents are very strict and they will not let her go. Of course, the boys have a solution that may or may not get them into trouble. Enjoy our version of "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"
